STAFF LOUNGE PROPOSAL

Because our lives have been transformed by our experiences at Camp Arrowhead, we have continued to be active in the Camp Arrowhead Alumni Association. Working together to make Camp Arrowhead a different kind of camping experience was an important part of our transformation within a Christian community.

We were all able to meet spontaneously and informally in the staff lounge. This contributed to our high morale, fostered cohesiveness, and allowed for easy, informal exchange of information. It also allowed an opportunity for staff of different ages and backgrounds to congregate. We believe that the camp program was substantially improved by this.

We are concerned that the present staff lounge does not adequately support these important functions. We fear that morale and program will suffer if the staff lounge is not centrally located and large enough to accommodate the entire staff in attractive surroundings.

We regard this as an urgent priority and would like to accelerate the process of the building a new staff lounge in a more central location.
